A brokerage and wealth management company had a number of IT initiatives that would require bringing on a large number of contract resources. The client was looking to implement a streamlined process including selection, on-boarding and administration in order to decrease the amount of time their managers spent on those activities. Bradford & Galt was engaged to implement a streamlined contractor procurement model to support a diverse set of short and long-term initiatives over a three year period. Bradford & Galt successfully staffed 492 assignments with an average turnaround time of 3 days. Additionally, Bradford & Galt saved over 10,000 hours of client management time from the streamlined process created and reduced negative turnover by over 50%.
The client, a healthcare company, had traditionally relied on CORBA as the enterprise architecture model for its middleware solution. Internal studies had shown that replacing the existing CORBA components with IBM WebSphere messaging services (namely MQ) would offer a more flexible and scalable middleware architecture from which to support growing business needs. They needed an implementation of the new MQ architecture as well as the conversion and integration of every major software system within the enterprise to include web, client/server, mid-range and legacy applications. Bradford and Galt delivered a project team consisting of 17 contractors including project managers, business analysts, system architects, developers and testers to deliver the Middleware Redesign Project. The project was completed on time and within budget.
A clinical trials company had over fifteen pharmaceutical studies in Phases I – IV that required statistical programming support. They required advanced expertise as part of the Statistical Programming Team to develop and maintain programs to meet internal and external client needs. Bradford and Galt assembled a team of 25 SAS developers to perform programming, testing and documentation of statistical programs in support of various phases of the clinical trials process. Resources were deployed to several different locations throughout the country. The projects were completed and Bradford & Galt was retained for additional work.
